All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Bible is a sufficient manual to teach, reprove, correct, and train believers in right living (2 Timothy 3:16–17). Counseling should be Christ-centered and practical. We believe that people can be healed and encouraged through biblical counseling especially if we help them grow in their understanding of the gospel and in their relationship with Christ.

God’s Word is living and active and discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12–13) and should be the standard to which we measure and examine ourselves. Moreover, biblical love always operates within the parameters of God’s Word and spiritual discernment (Philippians 1:9-10).
